這兩個月一直和老師們、香港的朋友們研究如何做好廣東話Decks。
除了邀請大家為不同的Decks錄音外，還要拜託他們幫忙拍有香港特色的照片。
如 「香港交通工具」和「香港美食」Decks就非常有香港特色。
記得我們在做「香港美食」Deck時，正是香港朋友的Lunch time。
然後我們就不停Whatsapp他們，給他們一個食物清單，要大家吃這個吃那個，然後幫忙拍照。
他們有的是親朋好友，也有的是素未謀面的網友，都非常熱心幫助Cardoze。
結果只花了一小時，就把「香港美食」的圖卡集齊了，這讓我們很是感動。
我們更因這次機會學會很多香港美食的英文說法，日後可以好好介紹給外國人了。

Here at Cardoze, we’re a team of friends and colleagues all focused on the same goal – make language learning more effective, simple and enjoyable! Let us tell you a story about how Cardoze got started…
Our key idea has always been to use decks to help learn words in groups, both visually and also from hearing the word pronounced. However, there are way too many words for us to do it all by ourselves! That’s when we decided to ask our friends and families to help by creating decks showcasing the best gourmet food from Hong Kong and then taking a picture of it to share with others.
Some of them were close friends and some we had never met. They were enthusiastic to help Cardoze. In the end, it only took an hour to gather all the pictures of “Hong Kong gourmet”, which moved us very much.
Now, we have created several decks that list all of the most delicious food from Hong Kong, so that others may learn the names of these types of food too! We have also been working hard with teachers and friends in Hong Kong trying to create more perfect Cantonese Decks.
Many people said how fun and enjoyable it was creating a new deck, taking pictures and adding voice notes to describe the picture. More than that though, they said how easy it was to learn a new language using decks in this way! Not only have we learned a lot of English about Hong Kong Gourmet, we have also been able to introduce it to foreigners as well so that they may also learn about our incredible food traditions!
