加拿大的飲茶文化 Dim Sum Culture

移民是香港近年一個熱門的話題,有些人會擔心移民後不能再品嚐到中式茶樓的風味,如果打算移民去溫哥華或多倫多這就不用擔心了,因為這裡有不少茶樓,而水準是不在香港之下。在上世紀八九十年代的移民潮,有一批點心師父,由香港來到溫哥華和多倫多,這兩大最多華人聚居的城市,他們繼續用他造點心的手藝在加拿大發揚光大。不少外國人也開始接觸到這種特別的飲食文化,繼而產生興趣。

During the immigration wave of the 1980s and 1990s, many dim sum masters from Hong Kong migrated to Vancouver and Toronto, the two cities with the largest Chinese populations, and continued to excel in their craft. This has introduced many foreigners to this unique dining culture and sparked their interest in it.
